This Privacy Policy explains how RTM Insights (ABN 28426268650) — collects, uses, and protects your personal data.

1. What we collect

Names, phone numbers, and any text, images or links you send us via WhatsApp, plus message metadata such as timestamps.

2. Why we collect it

To store your reminders and deliver personalised recommendations when you request them.

3. How we process data

Your content is processed by automated OCR and AI models hosted in Australia. Extracted data is stored in our cloud database so you can recall it later.

4. Legal basis

Consent (you opt in) and legitimate business interest. We comply with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 and, where applicable, the EU GDPR.

5. Sharing

We never sell your data. Sub-processors include WhatsApp LLC (message delivery) and cloud providers that host our OCR/AI models; they process data only on our instructions.

6. Retention & Deletion

Your data is kept only as long as necessary to operate the service or as required by law. Email privacy@rtminsights.com to request deletion.

7. Analytics

We use Google Analytics 4 to collect anonymous traffic statistics with IP anonymisation enabled.

8. Sensitive data

Please do not send credit-card numbers, health records, or other highly sensitive identifiers via WhatsApp.
